I coerced some good friends into helping me test out a new technique for creating a bit of mood and atmosphere in an image. Basically, a flash unit illuminates the beads of water which are being sprayed out just behind the couple. A few people may have gotten wet, but everyone had fun!
Moments after a record setting two minute City Hall elopement, I joined up with Nercy and Jon who were in the midst of celebratory drinks with a few good friends. The three of us parted from the group and walked around downtown Oakland to find some scenic spots for our midday photoshoot commemorating their wedding day.
A beautiful afternoon down in Los Angeles with the Pumilia family. It was my first time meeting baby Jennie (who is named in honor of Joe's late mother, an amazing woman who was highly supportive of my photographic endeavors). Little Jennie had a great time in front of the camera and was a perfect model, along with her parents of course, as we explored the sites around Carbon Canyon Park.
